Silage

Silage- Forage, corn fodder, or sorghum preserved by fermentation that produces acids similar to the acids that are used to make pickled foods for people. The crops used for silage must contain enough fermentable carbohydrates to allow sufficient lactic acid production to register a pH of 4.
