Inheritance

Inheritance- The transmission of genes from parents to offspring. These genes can range from coat color to whether or not the offspring is polled or not. Genes control metabolic function and body development, which cattle producers measure in a variety of ways like reproductive performance, weight gain, and other beef cattle traits.
