University Equine Experts to Present at Minnesota Horse Expo April 24-26

ST. PAUL, Minn. -— Waiting for spring’s arrival? Have horse questions? Come and visit University of Minnesota equine faculty at the Minnesota Horse Expo on Apr. 24, 25, and 26 at the St. Paul Fairgrounds. The presentations will take place in the Ramberg Building (near the Haunted House) and are included in the cost of Expo admission. Fri., Apr. 24

2:30, 4:00 & 5:30 p.m.: Interact with U of M veterinarians while touring of the U of M Equine Center. Tour focus will be on sports medicine. Bus stop is located north of the Expo ticket booth on Liggett Street. Passes can be picked up at the U of M booth located in the cattle barn (booth 615) and the bus stop.

Noon: "To Breed or Not to Breed" Economic and genetic factors to consider before breeding. Scott Madill, DVM

1 p.m. "Equine Economics: Caring for Horses During a Recession" Cost saving approaches to aid budget minded owners. Krishona Martinson, Ph.D.

Sat., Apr. 25
