Good quality water is essential for the production of livestock and poultry. In South Dakota, many water supplies
have naturally occurring salts that may limit their use. Livestock producers that test their water supply can make informed decisions about the suitability of their water for different classes of livestock. The purpose of this guide is to assist livestock producers in the interpretation
of their water analysis.
