MANHATTAN, Kan. -- As tight as the economics are in today's dairy operation, attention to detail is evermore important. As the summer heat takes over, many dairies will experience a depression in milk fat content. That can end up being pretty costly, says K-State dairy specialist Mike Brouk (Brook). This week, he gets into some likely causes of that milk fat falloff, and what can be done to remedy it.
