Take Forage Inventory Now

MANHATTAN, Kan. -- With silage harvest time just weeks away, this is an appropriate time for dairy producers to take inventory on their stored forages, and to project the herd’s forage needs through the fall and winter and the next growing season. That advice comes from K-State dairy specialist Mike Brouk, who offers several things to consider along that line.
