Prenatal Tips for Your Newborn

Your baby needs to be placed in a variety of positions to develop strong muscles. When your baby is awake, let him have time to lie on his back and his stomach. Give him something to look at and soon he will be able to lift his chin and then his whole head. Let him sit in an infant chair. Let him sit on your lap and against your body, facing out so that he can see what is happening in the room.

Note to Parents: When reading this newsletter, remember: Every baby is different. Children may do things earlier or later than described here. This newsletter gives equal space and time to both sexes. If he or she is used, we are talking about all babies.
