It’s important for new parents to eat healthy foods so they can stay in their best shape to raise their new baby. Each day, eat several servings of whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and calcium-rich foods, such as milk, yogurt, and cheese. Cut down on fatty foods, sugar, and salt. If you are a breastfeeding mom, check the breastfeeding food guidefor help in planning healthy meals.
