Day-long Pennsylvania seminar features goat marketing and management consultant.

LANCASTER, Pa. -- Frank Pinkerton, private consultant in goat marketing and management, will speak on the nutritional requirements of meat goats, feeding management, target marketing strategies and production economics at a day-long seminar sponsored by the Keystone Goat Producers Association.

Pinkerton is a retired animal science professor. His column "Frankly Speaking" appears in Goat Rancher. He shares advice, wisdom and sharp wit as he answers readers' questions about goat nutrition and farm management. Pinkerton also contributes articles.

The Keystone Goat Producers Association is sponsoring the nutrition seminar on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Lancaster Farm & Home Center at 1383 Arcadia Road, Lancaster, Pa.

The advance payment price for the seminar including lunch is $35 for the first KGPA family member. The advance price for the first family member not a member of KGPA is$45. The deadline to receive the reduced rate is Oct. 25.
