Make Big Bag Blocks to Toss or Hide Under

Parenting Tips for Your 35-36 Month Old Toddler

To make each block:

  • Crumple sheets of newspaper and stuff them into a bag. Large grocery bags make the best blocks.
  • Keep stuffing until the bag is nearly full. Then fold over the bottom end and tape it shut securely. Make at least 10 bag blocks—the more the better!
  • Big bag blocks can also be used to make houses, mountains, and castles. Use your imagination to think up other games to play with your big blocks.
