Parenting Tips for Your 13-14 Month Old Toddler

Every child needs immunizations from the time he’s born up to 6 years of age. Some of these immunizations are given in the first 6 months of life, but others are not given until the child becomes a toddler.

Immunizations or vaccines are given to children to protect them against diseases such as hepatitis, measles, mumps, rubella (German measles), polio, chickenpox, diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis (whooping cough).

Sometimes the recommendations for immunizations change. The latest chart of immunizations your child needs can be found at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website
