Making Goals Time-Framed

You can say to yourself, “I want to be 10 pounds lighter.” But one difference in your chance of success is in whether you are hoping to accomplish the goal in 2 days or in 10 weeks. Healthy Lifestyle programs have a specific time frame, but you may not get all you want accomplished in that time. Look at your goals, and formulate a reasonable time frame in which to achieve it. Pick a time frame that is realistic but also does not let you be lazy. An important note: Consider what rewards you will build into your time frame to keep you motivated. Keep this effort fun and rewarding. That will create a positive mental attitude that does not view your new healthy lifestyle as legalized torture.
