Overview

In many parts of the country, disposal of offal and butcher waste is becoming increasingly difficult and expensive, as renderers close down or raise their prices. Composting this waste has been demonstrated as a viable, safe alternative. In this webinar, an expert in butcher waste composting will explain how it's done, and a small slaughter and processing plant operator in Oregon will describe his composting operation, including the regulations and permitting process.
