TUCEP Grazing and Browsing Workshop

Tuskegee University Cooperative Extension Program is organizing a one-day grazing and browsing workshop for beef cattle and goat producers on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Selma, Alabama. Presentations by experienced faculties will be interactive that provide opportunities for significant audience participation. We have invited experts from across Alabama and outside the state. The main topics will include:


  • Extending grazing to minimize feed costs
  • Grazing and browsing with goats
  • Rotational grazing and parasite control
  • Predators and predation
  • Nutrient management of pasture
  • Grazing economics
  • Fencing for goats


Registration fee is $25 (Registration form)

This covers breakfast, lunch, snacks and all materials.
