The American Association of Professional Apiculturists (AAPA) annually conducts the American Bee Research Conference (ABRC). The purpose of the ABRC is to provide an opportunity for scientists to present their current work to those present as well as to a worldwide audience via the American Bee Journal and eXtension.org. Presentations and abstracts are restricted to research involving the genus Apis. Previously published work is not allowed. Current research and articles submitted for future publication are encouraged. The ABRC also features a student paper competition for up and coming bee researchers. Please see past conference proceedings and recordings below.

The 2011 ABRC will occur in conjunction with the North American Beekeeping Conference & Tradeshow, January 4 - 8, 2011 at The San Luis Resort, in Galveston, Texas. Come learn about the latest honey bee discoveries from the research community!
