Goat Care Techniques

Goats should be dehorned within the first 10 days of life. At this stage, it is called disbudding. Removing horn buds is generally safe and painless. Purebred registries usually require dehorning. Dehorned goats are put at a distinct disadvantage and should never be housed with horned animals.
