Mobile poultry processing units (MPPUs) have been around for more than 10 years. On this webinar, we learned about five MPPUs on the ground around the U.S.: Kentucky, Montana, Vermont, and two in Massachusetts. Each speaker covered history and partners, costs to build and operate, revenue and cost recovery, work done to date, whether the MPPU has achieved its goal, and lessons learned.
