Breed Specific Legislation (BSL)

Breed Specific Legislation (BSL) - any law or municipal ordinance that applies to certain breeds of dogs, but not others. This type of legislation is commonly used to restrict or ban the importation, breeding, and/or ownership of certain dog breeds.
