Feline Immunodeficiency Virus

FIV - slow-acting virus that severely weakens a cat’s immune system, making him susceptible to a wide range of secondary infections with opportunistic pathogens. Cats who are infected with FIV may not show symptoms until years after the initial infection occurred.
