Microchip

Microchip - a small sized (about the size of a grain of rice) identification computer chip than can be implanted externally (such as an ear tag) or internally (under the skin). In companion animals, the microchip is usually implanted internally. Commonly used to help reunite lost companion animals with their families, but also used to certify an animal’s vaccinations.
