The following behaviors of horses are considered vices:
biting
bolting
attacking
cribbing
fighting
halter pulling
kicking
pawing
rearing
stall walking
striking
tail rubbing
weaving
wood chewing
Vices in horses are developed for a number of reasons. Sometimes a horse is merely copying a behavior of another horse that already has the vice. The reason for development of the vice should be determined and a strategy developed to eliminate that behavior.
