There is no cut-off age where a stallion becomes infertile. Some stallions have been fertile at the age of 26. It appears that between 20 to 25 years of age, a stallion may become infertile. This age would be equivalent to the age of a 60- to 75-year-old man using one horse year approximately equivalent to three human years.
