How long does it take for a cut leg with ligament damage to heal, and will the horse be normal?

Tendons and ligaments heal slowly (3-6 months). The extent of the damage will determine the ultimate prognosis. An evaluation of the wound and amount of ligament damage will be needed to establish a recovery plan and estimate the extent of the recovery. Contact a veterinarian immediately.
