Information on the care of horses is available from the Cooperative Extension Service in each state. They will be able to provide information on feeding, health and general care. Contact your county agent's/educator's office or the university's animal science department. In addition, most breed associations provide information on the care and training of horses. Many books and magazines are dedicated to the care. training and promotion of horses and will be good sources of information.
