How much snowfall does Kentucky usually get?

Snowfall varies from year to year. Although snow is most common from November through March, it has also been reported in October and April. In most locations, the ground seldom remains covered with snow for more than a few days. Average annual snowfall for the state ranges widely from 10 inches in the west to 25 inches in the extreme north.
