Does Kentucky have a lot of cloudy days?

The average number of days with clear and partly cloudy skies is about the same, between 90 and 100 days. Approximately 175 days a year have cloudy skies. Eastern Kentucky has the most days with cloudy skies. Possible sunshine averages 35 to 50% in winter, 50 to 65% in spring, 65 to 75% in summer, and 55 to 65% in fall. The extreme western section of the state has the highest percentage of possible sunshine.
