Unfortunately, we are not aware of any manufacturers of cannon nets that are still in business. It appears that the market was just too small to keep the companies afloat. However, there is a document which provides instructions on how to construct one available at http://www.rmrs.nau.edu/publications/Grubb_1988/Grubb_1988.pdf.

Before using such a device, it is important to be sure that your situation actually requires it. Our other FAQs can be helpful in this regard.

Finally, except for English sparrows, European starlings, and common pigeons (rock doves), the capture of any other species REQUIRES a state and/or federal permit. Check with your state wildlife agency for details.
