Tophat is an excellent dwarf blueberry cultivar that is recommended for zones 3-7. It reaches a height of 2 feet and is frequently grown in containers. Dwarf Northblue is another very good compact blueberry that is very hardy and should be planted for pollination. Blueberries develop bright red foliage in the fall. Both cultivars are sold by several on line mail-order gardening companies.
