Can improper watering increase lawn disease problems?

Improper watering techniques can lead to disease issues. Deep, infrequent watering will lead to stronger root systems. Frequent, shallow watering will produce a weaker lawn. Avoid late-day watering, which can leave moisture on the foliage, raise humidity, and increase disease issues. Proper watering rates are determined by soil type, lawn variety, and climate conditions.
