What are some symptoms of parasite infections in calves?

To be on the safe side, just figure that all calves have a parasite infection because most do. There are some symptoms that are noticeable when a heavy infestation exists. You might start to notice the calves having diarrhea, a rough/dilute coat, or actual stunting of growth. However, remember that most calves with gastrointestinal parasites have no obvious signs, but you will incur losses from reduced growth rates which adversely affect weaning weight and profitability.
