Gardeners often refer to the different Arizona climate zones. How can I find a list?

You can find a map of Arizona plant climate zones, along with a brief description of each zone, online at http://ag.arizona.edu/pubs/garden/az1169/. To figure out what region you are in, locate the city nearest you (or the one in which you live) from either the zone descriptions or the map itself. The map is color-coded to match the climate zone that you are in. An important thing to remember is that the climates of adjoining zones grade into one another near their boundaries. This sometimes makes it possible to grow plants that are too cold tender for a given zone, or it may exclude certain plants at the coldest extremes of that zone.
