What is aquaculture?

Aquaculture by definition is a form of agriculture that involves the controlled propagation and cultivation of aquatic plants and animals as well as the processing and marketing of these aquatic products. This industry us a rapidly growing with the major fish crops raised in the United States as catfish, trout, salmon, carp, shrimp, striped bass and tilapia.
