What is required for me to apply for admission to college?

Colleges and universities differ in their requirements for admission, so make sure you look up the specific requirements for the specific college of interest. In general, requirements include a completed application form (many are now done online), a paid application fee (sometimes waived if you apply online), a high school graduation or GED, transcripts from any previously attended colleges/universities, ACT or SAT scores, letters of recommendation, and probably an essay. If seeking financial aid, a federal FAFSA form is required (available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov).

Schedule a visit to the school of your choice. The admissions office will be happy to explain the entire process to you.
