A soil test performed on a properly collected soil sample can provide helpful information to ensure proper plant growth.
Proper pH is essential to plant growth. If the pH is too high or too low, nutrient deficiencies can result. A soil test measures pH, and provides recommendations on raising (or lowering) soil pH if necessary. A soil test also measures nutrients available in the soil and provides recommendations for additional nutrients if needed.
