What are some indications that my cattle are suffering from fog fever?

Typical fog fever is seen in adult cattle in the fall of the year after introduction to lush pastures. Animals that are affected may simply be found dead. In early stages of disease, affected cattle commonly have their heads extended and exhibit open-mouthed breathing with expiratory grunts.
