How can I prevent anthrax from infecting my herd?

You want to vaccinate cattle that are in the high-risk regions of Texas with a vaccine that your veterinarian can help you decide upon. Anthrax is an annual threat in Texas that can be found in a triangle bounded by Uvalde, Ozona and Eagle Pass. This area takes in portions of Crockett, Val Verde, Sutton, Edwards, Kinney, Uvalde and Maverick counties.
