What are some clinical symptoms of coccidiosis?

In order to have a definite diagnosis, consult with your veterinarian to collect fecal samples. Some clinical symptoms to look for include calves that have profuse diarrhea containing mucous and blood. Most animals that have this disease will strain while trying to defecate, which can result in rectal prolapse.
