What is the difference in repellent and non-repellent termiticides?

Pest Management In and Around Structures March 08, 2012 Print Friendly and PDF

Termites do not detect non-repellent termiticides. If termites pass through non-repellents, they are killed by contact. Termites can detect repellent termiticides, and do not pass through treated areas. Repellents and non-repellents can be useful in drywood and subterranean termite management when used according to the label.
