Whenever you have questions about your medications, you should always start with your healthcare provider, especially the provider giving you the prescription, or your pharmacist. They are the persons most likely to be able to give you the best information about your medications.

If you want to do a little homework before talking with your provider, use reputable sources of information such as the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research and MedlinePlus - Drug Information.
