What are the current requirements to bring a horse into Texas?

Current requirements can change annually as particular health issues arise. Contact the Texas Department of Agriculture's Animal Health Web site and/or your local veterinarian.

Typical entry requirements for horses include a current negative Coggins (Equine Infectious Anemia) test and a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (Health Certificate).
