Can I save seed from this year's bean crop for next season's garden?

Yes, you can save seed from your bean crop.  Because beans are self-pollinated, they will breed true from one year to the next. However, certain diseases can be seed-borne and may appear in next year's garden if you plant seed from the previous garden.  For more information on seed saving techniques and guidelines read:  Saving Seed from the Garden.
