Parsley requires 70 to 90 days from seed to a harvestable plant. Plant in the late summer/early fall for winter harvest or in late winter/early spring for spring and early summer harvest. Parsley is a biennial meaning that it will grow over two growing seasons. The first season's growth will produce the highest quality leaves. If you allow the second season's growth to mature, the plants will flower and produce seeds that can be harvested and sown in future years.
