This could be a combination of three foliage diseases: Alternaria leaf spot, Cercospora leaf spot, and bacterial leaf spot. In most cases, two or more of these occur simultaneously on the foliage. Avoid overhead watering and limit water splash of the pathogen. Discard diseased plant debris and clean fallen leaves and fruit. You may consider controlling these diseases with foliar sprays using a combination of fungicides, including a copper fungicide. Begin at the first sign of the disease and continue at one- to two-week intervals during the critical disease periods. Contact your local Extension office for a list of the recommended fungicides.
