How do you keep squirrels from eating tomatoes?

Cover the base of plants up about 3 to 4 feet with Grow-Web, or surround bearing tomatoes with a wire barrier such as hardware cloth or small mesh chicken wire. Be aware that squirrels can climb!

If you decide to trap the squirrels, first check with your state wildlife agency regarding the legality of traps and the need to have any kind of permits.
