It seems that no matter what type of care we give our Ficus tree, the leaves just keep falling off. Now it seems like it is dying. What are we doing wrong?

Ficus benjamina (weeping fig) is one of those plants that does not like changes in its environment. This change is inevitable as we bring them back inside after their summer sojourn to the outside, and they announce their displeasure by dropping leaves. Once they have acclimated to their new location, they re-leaf and seem to be happy.

Ficus Care
Light: Medium light or some daily sun
Temperature: Warm room temperature
Methods of propagation: Air layering possible
Comment: An elegant plant for indoor and outdoor living areas. Plants often drop leaves while becoming acclimated to a new environment. If you place your plants in a location with good light, they should soon replace their leaves. Water when the soil feels dry to the touch when you insert your index finger up to the first joint.
