I can't seem to grow English ivy in the house, what am I doing wrong?

Make sure you are not overwatering. Growing Hedera helix (English ivy) as a houseplant requires bright indirect light (no direct sun), and protection from hot, dry air. Let the plant approach dryness before watering and then water thoroughly. The ivy rests in the fall and winter months, so even less water and no fertilizer is needed during those months.
