I have jasmine and Carolina jasmine vines that I was told flower most of the year but have only flowered for a few weeks in the spring. What is wrong?

Carolina jessamine (or jasmine) (Gelsemium sempervirens) is a spring bloomer only. You have seen all the blossoms that you are going to see for the year on this vine. Carolina jessamine is not a true jasmine; however, there are other varieties of true Jasminoides that can bloom during the summer.
