Straight sorghum is not usually fed to a horse. Almost all sweet feeds have a certain percentage of sorghum added to the feed to help bind feed ingredients, add flavor, and provide sweetness. Most sweet feeds do not contain more than 10% added sorghum. So, the answer to your question is yes, sorghum can be fed to horses, but it is usually mixed with a sweet feed and not fed straight.
