I recently was given slow release fertilizers with these formulations: 12-6-6, and 14-7-7. What can I use them for? How much do I apply for each plant?

The formulations of the fertilizers show a high nitrogen value, which would be best used on nonflowering plants since it would help produce great foliage. It is always a good idea to have a soil test done to see what your soil is lacking before applying fertilizers. As far the amount of fertilizer to use on the plants, you should follow the directions according to the label on the package.
