What are current contribution limits for 401(k), 403(b), and 457 deferred compensation plans?

In 2012, employees younger than age 50 may contribute up to $17,000 to salary reduction plans (401(k), 403(b), and 457 plans). Individuals 50 and older may contribute up to $22,500, which includes the maximum annual catch-up contribution of $5,500.
